Flood Watch Issued Through January 1

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch across Los Angeles County, including Rancho Palos Verdes, from 10 p.m. on December 31, 2025, to 10 p.m. on January 1, 2026. A Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding. It does not mean flooding will occur, but it is possible.

Be prepared.

• Do not walk, swim or drive through flood waters. Turn around, don’t drown! 
• Stay safe indoors when possible. 
• Avoid non-essential travel.
