One-Day Permitting System Outage on January 30
On January 30, 2026, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes will perform scheduled maintenance on its permitting and payment system, TRAKiT. During this time, processing for all City permits, planning projects, and payments using TRAKiT will be temporarily unavailable. The permit system is scheduled to be back at full functionality during normal business hours on February 2. Online payments are expected to resume on January 31.
What will be affected and unavailable, both in person and online:
- Processing and issuance of almost all City permits:
- Planning Division permits and project approvals
- Building and Safety Division permits
- Public Works permits
- Film permits
- Business License applications and renewals
- All payments
City staff will remain available for questions and inspections during normal business hours.
Please plan ahead:
- Submit urgent applications and payments before January 30, or after maintenance is complete.
