Park Details

Founders Park was formally accepted by the city on January 17, 2006, and named in honor of the city's founders who led the effort to incorporate the City of Rancho Palos Verdes in 1973. This 5.5-acre parcel is located adjacent to the Trump National Clubhouse and offers patrons an attractive site with breath-taking ocean views, picnic tables, a gazebo, nearby restrooms, coastal access and adjacent walking and biking trails. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Park Rentals

This park is available, through the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, for small stand-up ceremonies (up to a maximum of 15 people, including the wedding party*) for any 1-hour block of time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The cost is $475, plus $85.00 for insurance and a refundable security deposit of $175, totaling $735.00. The security deposit will be returned approximately 4 - 6 weeks following the event, provided all conditions and rules are met. There are no chairs, props, etc., however, minimal floral decorations are permitted upon approval.

Restrooms are located nearby. Limited public parking is available in the public lot to the left just before you get to the Trump National Clubhouse, or if that lot is full, parking is permitted on Trump National Drive.
 
Please note that this park can be used for the ceremony only. There is no possibility of having the reception on park grounds. If you have questions, or wish to inquire about availability, please call 310-544-5261.
