Prohibition of Feeding Peafowl

On May 19, 2009, the City Council enacted Ordinance Number 488 amending the Municipal Code making it illegal to feed peafowl (RPVMC 10.84.010) and interfering with efforts to trap and relocate peafowl (RPVMC 6.04.070). Prohibiting the feeding of peafowl is intended to help control the overall peafowl population in the City.
