The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be closed for business operations in observance of the holiday season from December 24, 2025 to January 5, 2026 

 Due to the holiday closures, in order to comply with the City's obligation to timely process wireless applications under the applicable 'Shot Clock' rules, wireless siting applications will be received during normal submittal days and hours as published by the City: 

  • Up to the end of the business day on Tuesday December 16, 2025

These dates allow the City to timely conduct its initial wireless application reviews prior to the holiday closures and properly account for diminished staffing levels during the holidays. 

The City will resume normal wireless applications acceptance processes starting January 5, 2026, subject to the usual City days and times for wireless siting applications. 

Additionally, applications submitted through the City’s online portal or via e-mail during the City holiday when City offices are closed will be deemed received on the next business day that City offices are open. The application will be date-stamped and reviewed for completeness on that next business day, and all applicable processing timelines—including any shot-clock periods under federal or state law—will commence from the deemed-received date.
