It is the mission of the Code Enforcement Division to work in partnership with the residents and businesses of Rancho Palos Verdes by promoting and maintaining a safe and desirable living and working environment.

Our Goal

The goal of the Code Enforcement Division is to gain voluntary compliance from property owners and / or persons responsible when a code violation exists.

  • Hazardous Property Conditions
  • Illegal Grading
  • Illegal Short-Term Rentals
  • Illegal Storage Units [PODS]
  • Inoperable and Abandoned Vehicles on Private Property
  • Property Maintenance
  • Signs, Including Signs in Public Right-of-Way and Signs without Permits
  • Swale Maintenance
  • Work without Permits
